Reading Children’s Festival May 18
0Reading Children’s Festival returns for its 24th year on Saturday, May 18th, with an action packed two weeks of fun and games for everyone at venues across Reading.
The festival gets off to a flying start with Meadow Madness this Saturday. There will be something for everyone, with sport and music workshops, fun days with art and craft sessions.
From 11am-3.30pm there will be live entertainment from a variety of local groups and performers at the arena in the middle of Chirstchurch Meadows, where Meadow Madness takes place.
Reading Children’s Festival takes place from May 18th – June 2nd and boasts a varied programme of activities.
A variety of craft workshops and exciting experiences have been organised for children at Reading’s libraries, Reading Museum and sport and leisure centres throughout the fun packed fortnight, including superhero crafts at Central Library on May 31st and decorate your own giant person at Whitley Library also on May 31st.
During the May half-term holiday (May 27th-31st), there is a week of free family fun taking place at various venues.
